You are not here by accident.

Whatever brought you to this page — curiosity, longing, weariness, or a quiet nudge you can't quite explain — you are welcome here.

The L.O.F.T. exists for people who need to slow down. Even those who've forgotten how.

Now, at the Modern Retreat House and the other on-site and creekside settings we've built around it, we offer what we always hoped to offer from the very beginning: a quiet place."

FRIDAY EVENING SABBATH TABLE
Seating 8–10 — By invitation

Every other Friday evening, we the table is set. Candles are lit. A meal together. Communion shared. Scripture is read, prayers are offered, and conversation goes where it needs to go. This is not dinner with an agenda. It is an ancient practice — a weekly rhythm of stopping, gathering, and remembering that we are loved.

We currently gather in the Modern Retreat House. This fall, we'll move into the Creekside Orangerie — a glass-roofed structure of warm, weathered wood, string lights woven through the rafters and a long table will sit at its center, set simply with candlelight, ready for eight. It's the kind of room that asks nothing of you but to sit down and stay a while.

We can't wait to welcome you there. For now, we welcome you in the MRH.

If you feel drawn to join us one evening, we'd love to hear from you.

🎵 SELAH, SOUP & SONG ‍ ‍ ‍An evening -once a monthly for those who shepherd others through song - by invitation.

For over fifty years, Michael has led worship in churches, gatherings, and unlikely places — including a kibbutz in Israel, and alongside the Liberated Wailing Wall with Jews for Jesus, for whom he composed four songs and co-wrote a melody featured on their David's Hope recording.

He has been described as someone who shepherds through song. His music refreshes the soul. And at times, it speaks prophetically into places words alone cannot reach.

In a world that is loud and hurried, Michael continues compose - writing contemplative music for times such as these. Songs that slow the breath, quiet the mind, and create space for the presence of God. Selah exists for those who carry that same calling — the songwriter, the musician, the worship leader who pours out week after week and needs someone to pour back in.

Around the table — over fresh sourdough bread and a warm bowl of soup — something unhurried happens. The contemplative rhythms of Sabbath and solitude create space for creativity to breathe again.

Come empty. Leave filled.
