Band of Brothers
Groups of 4 - 5 men gathering around the fire pit - twice a month for encouragement.
“…let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful and let us consider how we spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10: 23 - 25
BAND OF BROTHERS CONVERSATIONS: 5 QUESTIONS TO GUIDE THE WAY
1. Where have you seen God's grace at work in your life this week?
2. Where have you struggled—in your thoughts, attitudes, words, or actions? What temptations or pressures have you faced? Where have you experienced victory, and where have you fallen short? Where is Jesus in these times? Present? Far away? A Compassionate Coach helping, training, celebrating with you? A Disappointed Master, frustrated with you?
3. How “in sync” are you with Jesus' in how He is viewing and caring for your wife, children, friends, enemies, people in general. Is their any bitterness, anger, resentment, indifference you need to confess in order to get back “in sync” with Jesus’ love?
4. What is Jesus inviting you to trust, obey, or step into right now?
5. Before we close, here is one final opportunity to share — whether it's a struggle, temptation, a sin, or anything else weighing on your heart. We'll spend a minute in silence before the Lord. If He brings anything to your heart during that time, you're welcome to share it. This is a safe place, and you'll be received with grace. We're only here to support you with prayer and encouragement, so we can walk in life with confidence and joy under the care of our Head Coach, Jesus.
